Nail Art-September, 2008 The manicurists were ask to do a dio-rama to incorporate 10 decorated nails and have a creative scene.
Creative Color-September, 2008 The students were asked to submit manikins with creative color. The students submitted everything from creative highlights, tricolor, and a rendition of the U.S. Flag.
FauxHawk - August, 2008 The students were told to be creative. The students were shown a video of platform artists doing Faux Hawk on stage. The students were asked to do their own rendition of a Faux Hawk.
Look Alike - July, 2008 The students had to pick a picture of any hairstyle and they had to make their manikin look exactly like the picture.
50 and 60s - June, 2008 The students were asked to be creative and do their rendition of a 50 and 60's hairstyle. The students submitted everything from a Beehive to a Jackie Kennedy hairstyle including pill box hat.
